Library Move


The Sharon Public Library is moving from 11 North Main Street to 1 School Street in May!

Library closed: Monday, May 5 through Saturday, May 17

Grand Opening CelebrationMonday, May 19 at 2:00-5:00 PM (no Library services)

Library reopens: Tuesday, May 20 at 10:00 AM at 1 School Street

SPL's online resources will be available 24/7 while the Library is closed! Please contact reference@sharon.ocln.org if you are unable to access our databases. For device assistance, please contact another OCLN Library while we are closed.

Book Drops & Due Dates

Book Drop closes May 3 at 5:00 PM. Reopens May 20 at 9:00 AM at 1 School Street.

Due dates for Sharon materials extended to June 2. Materials may be returned to another OCLN Library except Library of Things items; please return these to SPL when we reopen.

Library of Things items that accrue fines must be returned to SPL prior to May 3. They are no longer available for checkout. All other LoT items are available until May 3.

Holds

Beginning April 28, all Sharon holds will be routed to Stoughton Public Library (84 Park Street). Holds placed prior to April 28 may be picked up in Sharon until May 3.

Patrons not wishing to pick up in Stoughton may 1) change the pickup location or 2) suspend their holds until May 20.

Museum Passes

Digital passes - available while the Library is closed

Single-use coupon passes - available for pickup until closing on May 3

Physical passes that must be returned - unavailable after April 30

Interlibrary Loan

Patrons can request materials but they will not be available until after we reopen.

Library on Wheels (home delivery)

Service paused beginning April 28. Service resumes week of May 19
